ELIGIBILITY:
Members of GLACS who are committed to contributing to the association's growth and advancing its mission and vision.
POSITIONS OPEN FOR NOMINATION:

Vice President - supports the President, oversees specific initiatives, and steps in as acting President if necessary. This position transitions to President for the following term and then stays on the board for a third term as Immediate Past President.

Treasurer - oversees the financial affairs of GLACS, including budgeting and financial reporting. This position serves a 2-year term and can be renewed once.

Director (Store Member) - 2 AVAILABLE POSITIONS - offer insights, proactively support and engage with GLACS members, serve on at least one committee, and contribute to strategic planning. This position serves a 2-year term and can be renewed once.

Director (Vendor Trustee) - 1 AVAILABLE POSITION - offer insights, proactively support and engage with GLACS members, serve on at least one committee, and contribute to strategic planning. This position serves a 2-year term and can be renewed once.

Web Specialist - maintains the website, adds/updates pages as needed, offers inputs and guidance for future improvements, and collaborates with other board members to ensure content reflects current initiatives and priorities. This is a light-support position with a flexible term limit; it is designed for consistent, responsive oversight to keep the website functioning effectively in support of GLACS goals.
DEADLINE:
All nominations must be submitted by August 14, 2026.
SELECTION PROCESS:
Nominations will be reviewed by the current Executive Board. Selected candidates will be notified and added to the ballot.
ELECTION:
GLACS will provide each voting member of the association an electronic ballot listing of all candidates by September 1, 2026. Voting will occur electronically and results will be announced on October 13, 2026, during the onsite GLACS Business Meeting at the University of Notre Dame.
